Abstract

Gianotti-Crosti syndrome or papular acrodermatitis of childhood period is a self-limiting exanthame disease. Gianotti-Crosti syndrome is characterized by papular or papulovesicular lesions which were especially localized at face, hips and limbs. The association of hepatitis B virus infection with Gianotti-Crosti syndrome has been well-documented in recent years, however other viral pathogens have been reported to be casutive agents too. In this case report, we present a 17-month-old boy with Gianotti-Crosti syndrome associated with Epstein Barr virus infection.
