Abstract
The frequency of Community-acquired Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus infections is increasing day by day and it usually emerges as skin and soft tissue infections. These infections in children are often presenting as abscesses and cellulitis and most patients have this infection without known risk factors. The most important virulence factor for Community-acquired Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus infections is Penton Valentine Leukocidin synthesis and Penton Valentine Leukocidin positive strains is associated tissue necrosis and abscess formation. Treatment of surgical drainage and / or antibiotics are applied.
